Yonex Astrox 88S Play Badminton Racket 4U5, with a stiff, 5mm longer shaft and head-heavy balance, has been designed for the Skillful, front-court player. This longer shaft attribute gives a fantastic balance between reduced air resistance and extra power, resulting in the perfect racket for those who like to attack from the front.
The racket also features Yonex’s new Energy Boost Cap, which provides a boost in energy transfer from the player to the racket by way of flexing the shaft in a single direction, reducing torsion of the shaft and energy loss. Combined with the new and innovative Namd graphite technology which produces extra flex and snap-back, this racket gives additional power without the loss of control.
The point of flex on the Yonex Astrox 88S is at the bottom of the frame, near the T-Joint, which enables the string-bed the ability to hold the shuttle for longer giving the player more acceleration and agility.
