Yonex Power Cushion 03ZM Lee Chong Wei Limited Edition Badminton Shoes are a fast lightweight shoe with highly breathable upper. The new design improves the fit for better comfort even in heavy movements.
3-Layer Power Cushion is a signature shock absorption system. Power cushion absorbs impact and rebounds it to help spring you into your next step. The 3-layer power cushion is soft enough to rebound an egg without cracking, but aid in power for leaps and explosive dives.
TPU Support - Plastic bridge under the arch that extends further down the shoe to prevent lateral torsion and provide high stability at a low weight.
Upper – With Durable Skin, provides improved heat resistance, shape retention and durability.
Asymmetrical Lacing - For a more comfortable fit the lacing is curved to follow the contour of the foot. This helps ease the pressure on the upper of the foot from the shoe when the foot is flexed.
The Double Russel Mesh on the upper allows for maximum breathability.
Inner Bootie - The tongue of the shoe is connected to the shoe opening to reduce overlap and pressure points. This also provides a more snug fit for comfort on court
ToughBrid Lite is a foam used in the shoe for cushioning to reduce stress on the foot and heels. The Lite version provides the same cushioning as the original but is 11% lighter.
Power Graphite Sheet is a midsole support system under the arch of the foot to provide strength at a minimum weight. This lighter version helps to reduce the weight of the shoe while still keeping the build and durability of the shoe.
Flexion Upper - A mesh upper with rubber overlay gives high breathability and support with drag resistance
Hexagrip Sole a Yonex grip pattern on the sole of the shoe. Using hexagonal grip aids in multi-directional traction for increased movement speed and changes of direction.
The Synchro-Fit insole provides extra support around the heel, reduces the gap between the foot and the shoe and gives maximum grip, comfort and performance.
Round Sole improves the gait of the foot by allowing grip from the heel through to the front of the toes. The rounded effect aids in a more flowing movement.
Please note Yonex shoes tend to be small fitting and it is advisable for most to go up by a half or full size.
The hard top and bottom layers absorb 30% more shock than our original Power Cushion and provide 5% more repulsion for enhanced transfer of energy. The soft middle layer quickly returns to its original shape after receiving a shock load, converting the shock energy into power for fast and light footwork.
Asymmetric design with a curved eyelet creates a natural snug fit around the inner arch.
For agile and stable footwork, the hexagrip pattern provides 3% more grip and is 20% lighter than standard sole material.
The YONEX Power Cushion absorbs shock then reverses the impact energy for smooth transfer into the next movement. <br><br> Compared with urethane, the YONEX Power Cushion construction provides 3 times more shock absorbing power. When dropped from 7m above a Power Cushion sheet, an egg will bounce back 4m without damage.
The YONEX Round Sole is designed to provide all-around support for quick and smooth footwork. The Round Sole ensures smooth movements and transfer of maximum energy.
ToughBrid Light retains the exact performance as ToughBrid yet is 11%* lighter, generating a significant reduction in leg and knee stress.
